Biography

Beginnings

His interest in the literature begins since 1984 start, with their integration into the literary workshops of the Casa de la Cultura (House of the Culture) in Puebla (Mexico): in 1984 participated in the workshop of the poet Juan Carlos Canales and in 1985, with the storyteller David Ojeda.

After the dissolution of workshop of David Ojeda, he formed the experimental workshop of creation multidisciplinary El Muro Portátil (The Portable Wall) with a heterogeneous group of creators, which work in the facilities of the Casa de la Cultura of Puebla, from 1987 to 1988, which was then directed by the poet Gilberto Castellanos. His works mixed music, drawing and literature. At the end of the cycle of this grouping, he published “The city was born naked in the rain”, a collection of poetry (1991), in an edition of author attributed to editions El Muro Portátil.

In the House of the Culture of Puebla, participated in the workshop of the storyteller Ignacio Betancourt from 1990 to 1991. In a discontinuous way, from 1995 to 2000, he worked in the poetry workshop of Juan Bañuelos at the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala (Mexico).

Also participated in the workshop of tales of Beatriz Espejo in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, in 2003.

 

Books.

Result of the state prize of tales Beatriz Espejo 2000 (Tlaxcala, Mexico), published in 2002, the book winner of this recognition. The book was printed under the seal of the Tlaxcalan Institute of Culture and the Iberoamerican University of Puebla, with the title "Obsessions, mechanics of dreams", to which are annexed other texts, which have appeared in newspaper supplements and also in the shingle "Born again", collected with the name of "Postcards from hell".

In 2002 he earned honorable mention of the National Award for first novel "Juan Rulfo", which gives the Conaculta, with his novel Our Love, which was published in 2003 by the ITC. The Fondo Editorial Tlaxcala ruled publish in 2004 a collection of poems, Inventory of shadows, which appeared in the collection Letter plastic of the Tlaxcalan Institute of Culture.

In 2002 he earned honorable mention in the National Award of novel "Juan Rulfo", which gives the National Council for Culture and the Arts (CONACULTA), for his novel "Nuestro Amor", which was published in 2003. In 2004 published a collection of poems entitled "Inventory of the shadows"; was printed for the Tlaxcalan Institute of Culture.
